I am a senior at Honeoye Falls Lima High School in New York. I am a three sport athlete, competing in cross country running, nordic skiing and track and field. These sports have grown to become a major part of my life, and when Iím not in season, training and preparation for these sports fill my summers. I am a part of my Church's youth group, and I teach first grade Religious Education as well. I am a member of the Foreign Language Club, Interact Club, National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society, and have been Class Treasurer for three years. In addition, I have been attending Camp Stella Maris during the summer for over eight years and participated in their LIT, CIT, and Internship programs. These programs have enabled me to increase my interpersonal skills as well as harbour my creativity and deepen my personality.

In 2011, I was awarded the National High School Female Athlete Overcoming Adversity Award, as well as the Coca-Cola Hometown Hero Award. My summers are filled with various summer training camps, such as the Eastern Regional Elite Distance Camp (held at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY), the Rochester Nordic Racing Summer Program, and the Slovenski Running Camp, for cross country running and nordic skiing. I am also a member of a committee that runs a local 5k, called the Stars and Stripes VeteRun.
